incredible

That was simply amazing. I really enjoyed the story and how it was presented. The music fit the mood of the animation. I hope you'll put the tracks in its own cd. The only thing I could ask for is if this was remade with a more hand style drawn animation(not saying that what was here was bad).

KibitzCo responds:

The music comes straight from the band June Madrona; I asked to get their music without vocal tracks and they generously agreed. Most of the songs used came from their latest album. That album also has a song called "Would you rather fly or be invisible?" that almost got used for the credit sequence.

Any way, blah blah, their music is great. You can listen to some for free on their website or buy it at the store at bicyclerecords.com. The Moon Diary DVD is also there. If you want to know which album a particular song is from you can pm me.

it has potential

I feel this could have benefitted from better voice acting. Sometimes it felt like there wasn't much emotion in the voices. Everything seemed bland. When this happend the impact and effect of the reveal and setup lost a lot of its effect as emotional and serious. You can convey mockery and sadness within the whispers but i don't think being as subtle as possible within the voices really conveys that sense of sadness/ mockery. With that said the idea is good. Nothing particularly bad about the animation. Keep working at it. There is potential here for an excellent animation.

great animation.....script uuuuhhhhhh

the animation was great. the chaning of body parts rotating into the foreground looked incredible awesome. One gripe about the animation is the way facil expressions don't change all that much. biggest problem with the the animation was probably the script. This could be because maybe some of the lines were deliverd kinda blandly or due to some of the cliche lines. "why walk when you can roll".........i think a better line could have been something simpler like...."we'll take my car"

great animation not soo much for writing

I really do enjoy the animation style and art. the combination of frame by frame drawings paired with some great atmospheric music really sets the tone of the plot(not so much the credit music but that could be from personal taste). My main problem with the animation is the writing/voice acting. Not saying the writing/voice acting is bad(having listened to some of the casts voice overs, which i much enjoyed), however i feel it could be better. Sometimes when watching the characters speak it doesn't seem like something that character would say within that situation. because of this some of the voice acting suffers. e.g the blonde guy with glasses - he doesn't seem to care about hellami yet he gives warning to her...something like..."You really plan on going in there yourself?"...or to fit with your follow up line from hellami..."You'd have to have some sort of deathwish going in there alone"...on the topic of the follow up line i didn't feel that meant anything, maybe to create a badass mystery girl, but it didn't make much sense to me "death isn't scare...life is"...ok? so why are you still living?
Problems aside from the writing I realllllyyyyy did enjoy the animation, art and movement style. In the future i hope that the delivery of the characters would be improved
